Chapter 14. Mark and Kaitlyn

"Haa!"

Valerie erupted in exasperation after thirty minutes of trying to understand the charts and reports in the files scattered about her work desk. The thought of Mark and the conversation he had with him was completely erased from her mind, though the bittersweet feeling still remained...

Of course, She used to love mark. And though it wasn't like she loved him anymore, the feeling of commitment she had for him still remained, and it was hard to get it out of her heart. Nevertheless, it's only a phase.

Val's head swirled as harmful whispers of words she was familiar with, but had different meanings within business context, echoed in her mind.

'Sales per capita... Growth marketing... churn rate...'

She thought the last one might be exactly what she'd use to describe the speed at which her head spun and how nauseous she was at the moment. 

Val was quite acquainted with sales per capita as a business term to an extent, but churn rate? flywhe
