Chapter 69. Opposite Sides Attracting

Getting to the hotel room that he'd reserved, Mark ushered Maggie in and made certain that she settled in comfortably first.

The room felt like a cozy sanctuary away from the cold and damp air outside. It was spacious with a comfortable king-sized bed adorned with fluffy pillows and crisp sheets taking up most of the space. The walls and interior decor were of stylish modern design which were of tasteful and soothing color. Behind the furled curtain was a glass window that offered a stunning view of the city below. It seemed a perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy a peaceful stay.

"I'll get the attendants to bring us something. In the meantime, make yourself comfortable" He said and moved to the desk in the corner where a landline was to call for the attendant's service.
