SCARLETT’S POV
“W-what are you planning, huh?” I asked, punching him again, and he put me down, so I tried to escape, but he grabbed my hair.
“Where are you going?” he asked, smirking. I glared at him and struggled again in his grip. “Are you going to report? To whom? To your weak cousins?” he laughed. I just stared at him, and he was about to touch my face, which I avoided.
He’s disgusting. I loathe him. I thought I could ask him to leave, but he doesn’t know how to listen.
“What do you really need? Why do you need to involve our chairman?” I asked, but I stopped when I remembered something, so I turned to face him. “He’s not your target! It’s me!” I said, grabbing his arm and throwing him to the ground.
And I adjusted my clothes and combed my hair before returning my gaze to Gino. “Oh, I’m right, aren’t I? The men won’t chase me if the chairman is the target.” I said, and grabbing his collar. “Why, huh? Why am I your target? How did you know I’m back?
