An annoying sound woke Latton up. When she opens her eyes the man beside her is still asleep. She gently stood and marched away from him to answer her phone that was on the table. Before she could reach it a hand gently tugged the hem of her skirt. She stared back at him, his now sitting on the couch looking at her with those alluring light brown eyes of his.

“Where are you going?” He asks, his voice a bit dry and weary. She gestured at her phone. Still buzzing, the light of the screen is dancing waiting to be answered. She answered it and heard Lucius on the other line.

“Where are you?”

“I’m… I …” Stuttering. Unsure how to explain. “Um... I’m in a meeting. I still have things to do, so don’t wait for me.” She says in a low voice while discreetly glancing at Lucian. Without waiting for any response she disconnects the call.
