Chapter 38. Stop Teasing Me

Barbara glanced briefly. Seeing Philip's gentle gaze, her cheeks heated up. At that moment, Philip tilted his head. His eyes narrowed mischievously.

"By the way, have you just come out of the sauna? Why do your cheeks blush?"

Barbara blinked. Her hand rose to cover her face. "It's because I'm too angry." Her glance was cynical again.

"So, you're still angry with me?" Philip chuckled. "It's a waste of me to praise you. It turns out your heart hasn't melted yet. Should I take some food to your room? You haven't eaten since lunch, right?"

Barbara's furrowed brows deepened. "I have no appetite!"

Afraid of the pounding in her chest, she quickly walked away, but Philip was moved to tease her more.

"Hey, why are you following me?" Barbara sped up.

However, Philip's footsteps were much bigger. Even though his movements were relaxed, he was still beside her.

"To make sure you arrive safely. You haven't eaten since lunch, right? What if you pass
