"Oh, luckily, your coat is long and waterproof. Your pants didn't get wet." Cayden shook out Emily's clothes, dusting them off the snow.
Emily was stunned. She could only blink. Her round eyes made Cayden smile.
"So, what's your name? I've introduced myself. Now it's your turn."
The little girl bit her lip for a moment. "I'm … Emily. Emily Harper."
"That's a nice name. Then, why do you come here? Are you and your family on holiday?"
Emily nodded. "Yeah. Are you also on holiday?"
"On holiday while doing business. My uncle runs a furniture company. He wants to collaborate with several horse farms in this city. I was assigned to the documentation section."
"You're not from this city either?"
Cayden nodded. "I'm from T City. You?"
"L City."
Cayden was stunned. "It’s a shame our houses are very far away. In fact, I like you. We could be good friends if we lived in the same city."
