Chapter 39. Change of Plans

"So, we're not going back to the inn?" Barbara raised an eyebrow.

Frank nodded. "Yes, we can ask Jeremy to come with our luggage. We can wait for him at the nearest hotel."

Diana swallowed hard. Her lips trembled, realizing that she didn't have much chance to speak.

"Frank—"

"Now excuse me. I have to go to administration." Frank showed the sheet of paper in his hand, not hearing Diana's faint call.

"Just let me take care of it." Philip held out his hand, but Frank pulled the form to his chest swiftly.

"No. This is my first experience taking my wife for a pregnancy check-up. Of course I have to take care of it."

After patting Philip's arm, Frank rushed to the administration desk. His enthusiasm was so burning. Diana couldn't bear to block his steps.

"Grandma," Philip rubbed Diana's shoulder, "Don't be sad. There will definitely be time for you to talk to Frank or Kara. We still have to go back to the inn anyway. We can't contact Jeremy
