Chapter 60. Perfect Disguise

Suddenly, Jeremy stopped. Ava almost hit her head on his shoulder. "Blend in like the others. Don't be so stiff or you'll attract attention."

Ava snorted quickly. "Didn't you see my clothes? How could I not stand out in this uniform?"

"Let's just say you went straight to the bar without having time to change clothes after work."

"You know that's against the rules, right?"

Jeremy shrugged. "Who told you not to change clothes?"

"I didn't bring any clothes. How can I change?"

Jeremy let out a faint sigh. "Don't ask me to argue. Now speed up your steps. They're already here."

Jeremy grabbed Ava's hand and pulled her. Ava had no choice but to follow his lead.

After slipping through the crowd, they arrived before a hall. Jeremy knocked twice and twice. Within seconds, the door opened. A wide-eyed young man greeted them.

"Jeremy Harper?" The man shook his head with a half-laugh smile. "This is a big surprise! I didn't expect you to find
