Chapter 87. A Betrayer

"They follow me?" Philip sounded surprised. "Impossible. They don't even know which way I'm going."

Frank's brow furrowed deeper. "You didn't tell Sean about that?"

"No one knows. I told you, I'm not taking any chances. Are you sure they're after me?"

Frank's eyes trembled rapidly. After a blink, he checked the paper bag that Sean had brought him. As soon as he saw the contents, his feet took several steps back. There were only folded old newspapers in there.

"Damn," he stifled his curse.

"What is it?"

Frank gripped his phone tighter. "Sean betrayed us. His arrival must have been planned. They knew that if you went to save Barbara, I would send Sean to escort the twins."

A second later, Frank growled. Resentment had seared his heart. "I shouldn't have trusted him so easily."
