Chapter 93. The Test

Jeremy's eyes widened slightly. He now understood why Kara was hugging him earlier and that there must be spies around them.

"Okay. You’re coming with me?"

Kara shook her head. "I'll look after Ava. She'll be moved to Barbara's room in a moment."

"Be careful."

After getting a faint nod from Kara, Jeremy went on his mission. Two bodyguards followed him. The rest stood around Kara and Ava's bed.

Nevertheless, Kara remained alert. Her eyes incessantly swept around. Her hands were pressed together in front of her chest and her lips were murmuring a prayer.

"I hope Frank gets home with the twins safely."

Louis blinked observing the situation. He and Emily had been in the luxurious cabin for almost a minute. However, the old man who occupied the seat in front of them still did not make a sound.

"Actually, what is your purpose in making us sit here, Mr. Moore? Staying still like this is not productive at all."
