Alexus was shocked that Rafaella had planned a private celebration for the family and no outsiders.

Her eyes sparkled with anticipation as she pointed to the large rectangular chocolate cake, boxes of his favorite pizza, two of his favorite entrées, and a bottle of champagne.

With tears in his eyes, Alexus laughed. "They're meant to report everything to me, he teased, "I still don't know how you convince everyone to have it quietly prepared." His hands lingered lustfully on her waist.

Her three agents were exchanging glances with one another. When Gwen had a chance to catch Rafaella's gaze on her, she winked at her.

"Well, it's your birthday, and technically I live here now too... so I'm not sure I need your permission to throw a party for my ridiculously hot husband's 35th birthday."
