Chapter 69. His Woman

Rafaella was speechless, in a trance, when their lips parted, and their eyes spoke.

She swallowed silently. Their eyes still connected in silence, yearning.

Alexus' hand moved his index finger, underlying the movement of her throat, which she gasped with that tingling sensation.

She held his hand to stop that caress that brought her indescribable reaction, an awareness of wanting something beyond words.

"What are you doing here?" She said in a low voice. Her chest was heaving badly. And her gaze widened when he put his palm right in the middle of her chest.

"Please, calm yourself down…" he said quietly.

She gulped and nodded.

"I want to know you're doing fine. And, of course, I wanted to see you after last night," he whispered. 

"Yeah, me too…" she smiled shyly.

"Why are we whispering?"

"Well…they might hear us. They don't know yet..." She continued to say in a low voice.
