Chapter 79. Unbridled Desire

"Thanks for the ride, Mason. See you in the office anytime tomorrow..."

Rafaella heard Alexus say to the man who picked them up to leave the venue of their first date as a couple. At the same time, she was busy putting on her sandal again.

Then she felt Alexus caressing her hand and looked up at his face. He smiled at her.

"You looked worn out, babe," he said, dropping his arm around her shoulder. "Sorry about that."

"Why should you?" She replied. "It wasn't your fault. Thanks though, as I enjoyed the first part. The food and the dancing..."

"And...?" Alexus added as his eyes inquired in silence.

"Everything," she said, ignoring the heating of her cheeks. She heard the man's amused laugh. "Why is it dark in your house?"

"Our house," he corrected and pulled her closer to his body. "Get used to the fact that I'm your husband, and we're both living here while the documents on the land where we'll live are not finished."

"Where is that?" She aske
