Davina’s POV:-

What is she doing here? Oh wait, what did she just say? Son? I glanced at Arthur and saw him looking at her with a cold expression on his face. I looked back at her and saw her

walking down the stairs with a happy expression on her face, it was clear that she was happy to see her son but was Arthur happy? The look he had doesn’t show any kind of affection, it was as if he didn’t like to see his mother.

“Arthur,” she smiled, walking up to him and it looked as if she was coming to hug him, but Arthur just stood still with his hands in his pockets.

“I’m so happy to see you here,” she grinned and hugged him while closing her eyes, she didn’t notice me and that made me very nervous, not for her reaction but for Arthur’s reaction. I was nervous because I don’t know what will happen if Arthur discovers what happened between us and it made me scared. All the things Arthur did to me flashed in front of my eyes and he may torture me more If it comes out.
