I had no doubt that my girl was going to stand up for herself against her sister. But she completely exceeded my expectations, even though I had no idea what I was expecting.

Watching her finally show her sister that she was her own person, independent, powerful… it made my heart swell more than it ever had before. However, seeing her break down in my arms shattered a part of me.

I couldn’t imagine losing Nolan the way she had lost Juniper—then again, Nolan wasn’t as psychotic as Juniper was.
