Chapter 29. Bad Influence

Hans slightly tilted his head, not so obvious, but I got whatever he wanted to say.

“Look at your parents. They’re glad to see that we’re getting along, although I know you’re not feeling the same way,” Hans added, making a sarcastic smile. “Are you really going to ruin that?”

I blinked twice, my gaze moving to where he was looking.

He was right. My parents were delighted at the sight.

And it’s just not them and my parents. The other guests look happy now that we’re together, too, although I could see some envious eyes glaring at me.
