Chapter 48. Cherish

Tears continued streaming down my face.

It didn’t matter how painful it was at the moment. I was so happy that I couldn’t even contain all the emotions I had.

“I’m happier, Serenity,” he answered as he stared at me, his eyes gleaming with joy. “You don’t have any idea how long I’ve been waiting for this.”
