Katarina's POV

For a few seconds, I just stood there, completely dumbstruck and avoided his gaze. I slightly glanced up at the floor and ceiling once in a while. I stood still before meeting his eyes.

"He-he told me to get it so I-"

"So you listened to him?" he asked, appeared close to me, and I inhaled his minty breath before shaking my head.

"I don't know what to tell you. I was desperate." I replied honestly, looking up at him.

"Do you have any idea what's inside that-" he stopped to take a step back before letting out a long sigh.

"What?"

"Forget it, just go upstairs and sleep." He said and was about to leave when I  grabbed his hand. He looked back at me. Yet another disturbing image of him and that girl making out flashed through my mind.
