Katarina's POV

When I woke up, Alex was already ready. He was about to say something when his phone started ringing and he received it.

"Yeah, she's with me," He said softly while giving me a glance. "No, like I said before, no one is going to feed on the humans without their permission. Are we clear?"

I look at Alex as he hissed on the phone before standing up, ready to leave the room when I grabbed his hand.

"I'll bring some blood bags and call you later. Until then, keep your hands and fangs to yourself." He hissed lowly before hanging up.

"Alex, what's going on?" I asked.

"Nothing you have to worry about. "

I grabbed his hand as he started to get up again. "Alex, what's going on?" I frowned a little, moving closer to him as he let out a sigh.

"The guys are just pissed. You probably heard about the new rules I made. The vampires can't force the humans for blood."

"That's really sweet of you-"
