“There is unrest in the Westwood. A lot is going on there,” the woman said to Gaia as she paced around the room.
Gaia sighed from where she sat, tending to the sleeping Naomi. “What could be happening?”
“I have no idea.”
“Then, should we go and help?”
The woman paused in her pacing and glanced at Gaia in shock. “Us? Help? Are you out of your mind? It’s the Westwood, the Westwood coven has two pure-blood witches, if they can’t help, then it’s us?”
Gaia shrugged as she wiped the cold towel on Naomi’s forehead. “I’m just saying, it’s better than sitting here and doing nothing.”
“The coven leader hasn’t even spoken about helping, and it’s us? Come on, Gaia, even you know that there is nothing we can do. Even Grace can’t do anything if she were her, and she was the strongest witch in our coven.” The woman sighed. “Whatever that is going on there, the only way to ensure our safety is by staying away from there, trust me.”
