TWO DAYS LATER***

ROGER'S RESIDENCE***

Layla came out of her room, dressed in her school uniform. She went downstairs to find the maid setting the breakfast on the dining table.

"Where's Mom?" She asked.

"She's up in her room, I haven't called her down yet" the maid replied.

"Okay, I'll call her," Layla said and tried to walk away.

"I don't think that's a good idea,. Miss" the maid tried to say.

Layla smiled.

"Don't worry, she's my Mom after all" she muttered before going to her Mom's room.

She entered her parents room and she met her Mom sprawled on the floor, snoring loudly.

She sighed. She walked to her and tried to raise her up when Mrs. Rogers opened her eyes.

She quickly pushed her away and Layla fell to the floor.

"What do you think you're doing?" Mrs. Rogers questioned, staring at her hatefully.
