Chapter 9

Meet the love of my life, Hailey Brooklyn," Charles said, staring at Mr. Monterio.

Hailey turned to look at him in shock. Okay, what the hell is going on right now?

She tried to get out of his hold but his hand only tightened around her the more, pulling her more impossibly closer to him.

"She's my woman Dad, so it's high time you stop bringing in ladies for me, she wouldn't like that" he said.

"What are...."

Charles cuts her off and kisses her on the cheek, shocking the daylight out of her.

"You don't have to be shy, baby," he smiled sweetly at her.

That simple action of his got Hailey boiling up in anger. How could he touch her without her permission? 

He's surely going to get it from her when his Dad is finally gone.

Charles faces the lady beside Mr. Monterio who's already glaring at Hailey hatefully.

"Shouldn't you be gone by now?" He mutt
