Chapter 31
Blood was oozing slowly from the corner of his mouth and there was a scratch on his forehead. How could she have been so self-centred as to not have seen how slightly damaged his handsome face was?
“You were just overwhelmed with happiness. It’s not your fault and it really doesn’t mean you’re self-centred,” The voice in her head said.
She nodded in agreement, glad that her subconscious was on her side for the first time in a long while, then stopped nodding upon the realisation that other people were present and would probably be thinking that she was going nuts.
She fixed back her attention to Tade, motioning for him to speak up.
“Umm...” He started, then stopped.
“Umm...what?” Bukunmi demanded, in a firm tone.
He bit his lower lip, then looked at the attendant, who seemed eager to hear the gist as well, signalling for him to go.
The attendant, however, pretended not to understand his sign language and continued standing there.
