She sat on her chair, and looked around from time to time, majorly at the door, wondering when Tade was going to come like they had planned. It had been five minutes already, and even if Itohan may not have any suspicions, Kate was highly inquisitive and seemed to have a functioning sixth sense.

If there was any clue somewhere in the room, where could it be? Apart from the drawers and wardrobe, there was actually pretty nowhere that anyone could hide anything. She heaved a sigh. If only she could have the room all to herself for half an hour, she was confident that she could get to the bottom of all the things Tade kept hidden from her, except if her hunch was wrong and there was nothing that could give her a clue in his secret room.

Just then, Tade barged into the office, looking like he had been in a hurry to get there.

“Hey,” He said in a relaxed tone, as he spotted Bukunmi sitting on her chair.

“Hey,” She responded.

“What’s with that look? Did I kee
