Emily opened the zip of her handbag. "Oh, and Alexandrio returned your necklace." Emily handed Aurora her necklace back but Alexandrio's name felt like a ting in her chest. A sharp ting!

Aurora touched her mother's necklace. Her eyes blurred with emotions. "Thank you." She whispered hoarsely.

"Aurora, do you mind going to our room and bringing a tampon for me. I think it's the time of the month and I didn't have anything on me."
