CALEB'S POV:

As Alpha Adam left my pack, Anika knelt on the ground and started sobbing again. I was watching her while Alpha Adam was trying to take her back. She was trying hard not to break down in front of him. I looked at Lucas and he nodded his head. He gestured to the others and everyone left the house. I went towards Anika and offered her my hand. She gulped hard and stared at my hand for a few moments. She then took my hand and I helped her up. I took her to the room we had gotten prepared for her in my house.

I made her sit on the bed first. Then I grabbed the jug and filled a glass with cold water. I sat down beside her and gave her the glass. She forced a small smile on her beautiful face and accepted the glass. She drank the whole content in one go. I took the glass and set it on the bedside table.
