Chapter 57

ETHAN'S POV:

I gasped loudly as I sat up. I was supposed to be in my bed but instead, I was sitting on the damped ground. I sighed and looked around. I knew why I could possibly be there. It was a dream and my master Dalton finally decided to show his face again after so many years. I stood up and started following the only path that I could see. After walking for a few minutes, I stopped in front of the river. I smiled and bowed down. As always, I had caught his scent before he came near me. I felt a strong hand on my shoulder. I looked up and found master Dalton standing. 

He grabbed me by my shoulders and pulled me up. He pulled me in a fatherly hug as always. I hugged him tightly. I had missed him a lot. I was happy that he was finally here. He was finally here to show me a path. I was no longer able to control myself. I broke into tears. He pulled away and made me sit down on the rock that was near. He sat beside me and offered me his handkerchief. I wiped my f
