Delaney’s POV

My face heated up, and I needed nobody to tell me that I was blushing; my face probably would have been all flushed.

I sniffed the sweet smell emitting from the coffee and smiled broadly.

Coffee is one of the strange things I’ve come to like in Xavier’s house.

The first day I tasted it, I instantly liked it and wanted more.

But the coffee in my hand is totally different from the ones I’ve had. Even without having a little sip of it, I could tell by the sweet smell.

I licked my lips tentatively and placed the cup on my lips.

I smiled sheepishly and sipped gently from the coffee.

Oh my! The taste…

It was so different from the one the maids did make.

Wow! Who knew the grumpy Xavier could make a coffee as good as this?

Wow! I’m really impressed!

I took a large sip and breathed out.
