“You have to leave now, Clarissa, you’ve outstayed your welcome already,” Dad grumbled angrily as he marched up to mom and me in the sitting room where we were watching TV.
Mom snorted and glared at dad.
“Really now, Jerry? Is this what you’re supposed to tell your child and her mother? A child you didn’t know about? Is this how you’re gonna treat us?” Mom snarled angrily and stood up from the sofa.
