Chapter 133. At the Restaurant
They both ate their meals in silence. The only sound that could be heard amongst them was the soft click of cutlery on plates, and the quiet gossip from others at the restaurant.
Calla had her head lowered to her plate, but she could feel both hot and cold stares from people around them. She knew they were talking about her and Rico.
She was aware of how popular he must be around here, but she didn't know it would be this intense.
Rico didn't seem bothered at all. His gaze stayed moving over her head, as if searching for something. His jaw slowly moved as he chewed quietly, but she still noticed the slight anticipation in his brows.
