Chapter 173. To Keep the Moment Light
It's been three days since Rico exposed Marco and the other territory heads at the board meeting. His title as the Capo still stands, and the talk about making Marco take his position was dead and buried.
He drove slowly. The afternoon sun sat high in the sky, warm but not too harsh, casting a soft light over everything as Rico drove down to the location for their date.
Calla had personally picked out a place. It was a nice restaurant with a beautiful view—at least that's what the ad showed.
"What?" Calla asked, practically jumping from her seat, the surprise was clear in her voice. "What do you mean you don't like this song?!"
Rico chuckled and glanced briefly at her, his hands still tight around the steering wheel. "I don't like it," he shrugged, driving carefully.
