“Oh you’re here! Ah, ah—” When someone spoke from behind her, Kia looked at her back, causing her to slip. She closed her eyes, expecting the floor to catch her, but Ares grabbed her waist. “Are you okay?” Ares asked her worriedly.

Because of what had happened, Kia was unable to respond. Ares gently loosened his grip on Kia’s waist and assisted her in standing up. “I’m sorry, I didn’t realize the floor was wet. Don’t worry, I’ll fully clean it.”

“Ahh— I’ll just be careful next time. Thank you.”

I’m not sure how long I’ve been replaying what happened earlier in my head. Am I losing my mind? I’ve been attempting to sleep, but tiredness doesn’t bother me at all. Although the bed in Ares’ room is comfy, I am still unable to sleep. Maybe I won’t be able to sleep if I keep on thinking about things.
