“So, you’re planning to marry Miss Wilson merely for practical reasons?” he questioned.

“Not entirely. I’ve had a few encounters with her. I prefer a quiet woman, and she’s introverted and reserved. Our personalities align well. Additionally, her family background is unpretentious. Her parents are regular wage earners, and she’s their only child. Marrying her means I won’t have to be overly concerned about familial matters,” Cristofer explained.

Justin was even more speechless. “Come on. Are you choosing a wife or an employee?”

“Is there any difference?” Cristofer asked as he walked to the window and lit a cigarette. Then he drew heavily on the cigarette and puffed out a cloud of smoke.

He then added, “I only have two requirements for my future wife. One is that she has to be obedient, and the other is that she can’t be clingy.”
