Chapter 28. A Fake or a Real Ring?

Ralph stormed out of the apartment, and Raven followed him out. He closed the door after her and walked off towards the elevator. As they emerged from the elevator, she saw an immense crowd outside the main gates of the building. 

“What the fu*k!” swore Ralph through clenched teeth, turning to Raven. 

“The reporters are here. Don’t panic and don’t open your mouth.” Raven nodded with frightened eyes. She had already started panicking. What did the reporters want now? Ralph placed his arm around her and guided her outside the building. He needed to make a quick dash to his car with Raven. The moment he went out, the reporters started fighting for his attention. 

“Mr. Van Halen, tell us something about the stolen designs, please,” said one of them. 

“The case is solved,” said Ralph with a poker expression. 

“Your clientele needs to know something about your latest collection,” said another. 

“We’ll do a press meet soon,”
