Chapter 37. Marital Bliss
Jaxon pulled his wife into his arms just as the music started. He slowly danced with her, twirling her to the slow romantic Elvis song, “Can’t help falling in love with you.” The dance ended and everyone applauded for their amazing performance.
“I love you, Mrs. Craddock,” he whispered in her ears.
“I love you too, Mr. Craddock,” said Carmella. Later, they sat down at the huge dining table, which could seat 40 guests together. It was time for the toasts and River was already up on her feet even before Gilbert could realize what was happening.
