Chapter 205. Get Rejected

She selected his outfit with meticulous care, opening and closing the wardrobe doors as quietly as possible. She was so absorbed in her task that she didn’t notice a pair of eyes watching her intently.

Arion had actually been awake for an hour, pretending to sleep, waiting for Emily. He had even watched her in the kitchen through the iPad on his nightstand.

As Emily finished and entered the room, Arion set aside his iPad and pretended to sleep.

He slowly threw off the blanket covering his boxer-clad body and silently got out of bed. Moving towards Emily, he inhaled deeply, savoring her scent.

“Yakk…” Emily gasped, finding herself suddenly in Arion’s arms. The man, lacking any sense of decorum, wore nothing but boxers.
