Chapter 219. So Impulsive

The young man, a spitting image of his father, bowed his head, absorbing all of Austin’s words. “Thank you, Daddy!” he exclaimed, lifting his head to look at his father.

Austin smiled and stood up. “One thing you must know, boy! Daddy would give up everything in the world to be with your Mommy and take care of all of you!”

Arion smiled. “I won’t hesitate anymore, Dad!” Arion declared with determination. He felt enlightened. Why had he been so afraid of Tasha’s threats? What if she did spread rumors?

As long as he and Emily were open with each other, honesty—though difficult at first—was what had always made him hesitant in his actions.
