Chapter 281. Departure
“Sorry, Michael,” Cecilia apologized.
Michael smiled, “No problem, we can go another time.” He sat in an empty chair.
The waiter came to take their orders, and soon they were eating dinner. The atmosphere was quite awkward, with Felix mostly silent but attentive to Cecilia’s needs, while Cecilia chatted more with Michael.
After more than thirty minutes of dinner, Michael stood up and reached for Cecilia’s hand again, “Ready to go? Let’s head out.”
Felix quickly stood up and held Cecilia’s hand, glaring at the man in front of him, “Cecilia is coming home with me,” he said sharply.
Michael smirked, “Unfortunately, she has to come with me somewhere.”
“No, she’s coming home with me.”
Cecilia sighed deeply and looked at Felix, “Fel, I have to go with Michael. Don’t worry, okay? Thanks for today.” She then stood up.
