Chapter 40. Charity Event

Bella turned on the hairdryer and started drying her wet hair.

Austin continued to watch the wet parts of Bella's hair. He gestured to the areas that weren't being exposed to the dryer.

"Sigh, next time I strongly forbid you to wash your hair if I'm not around!" a statement that was not to be refused.

"Hehhee.. Yes, Boss!!" Bella laughed softly and began to tidy up the hairdryer into the drawer. Then she started applying her night cream.

Meanwhile, Austin had put on his cloth pants and lay on the bed. "Rest early, dear. Tomorrow, I'll try to arrive before five in the afternoon."

"Yes, dear, don't turn off your phone, okay? Keep me and Arion company." His beloved sweetheart cooed.

Austin chuckled softly, "Yes, dear. Wait a moment, let me grab the phone charger."

He went to his bag and took the charger cable and plugged it in. Shortly after, he returned and left the video call connection still on.

"Goodnight, Hubby."
