He felt grateful that Monica didn't consider aborting their child. Instead, she chose to live isolated here to take care of their flesh and blood.
"Hmm, because Chelsea is my daughter,"
Austin bid farewell and entered the car, where Max faithfully awaited him.
"Let's go, Max," he said softly, leaning back. Today felt so long.
"Alright, Sir. Should we head straight home, or would you like to rest at the hotel?" Max asked, seeing that it was already ten o'clock at night.
"To the hotel. Tomorrow morning I'll come back here and do something," Austin replied.
"Alright, Sir," Max replied shortly. He wouldn't ask anything else. He knew that today was truly tough for his young master.
Max drove in silence. Occasionally glancing at Austin, who now had his eyes closed. But tears were rolling down his cheeks.
