Chapter 79. I Want to Hear Your Whole Story

"Thank you, love," Austin said softly, handing his cup back to Bella, who responded with a sweet smile.

Bella set the empty tray aside and insisted that Austin eat the sandwich Laras had brought. She wiped the corner of his mouth with a tissue. The atmosphere was still awkward for Bella.

Austin wrapped his arms around Bella's waist as she stood before him. "Darling?"

"Hmm?"

The handsome man hugged his wife tightly. "Forgive me, darling, forgive me...."

"Yes, love," Bella replied, returning his embrace. With a swift motion, Bella found herself on the bed, with Austin lying beside her, his head resting against the headboard. He gently laid her head on his broad chest.

He lovingly stroked Bella's head and kissed her gently. Clad only in bathrobes, they felt the warmth of each other's presence.

Bella leaned against the chest she had missed so much. "Love, I'm sorry I wasn't honest with you," Austin said suddenly.
