 "Yes, Auntie Laras," Bella replied. Laras left, closing the door behind her.

Bella walked back in, the room's layout separating the bed area from the door, meaning Austin could only hear faint sounds from the door.

"Arion, look who's there?" Bella said softly as Austin gazed at her and their son.

Austin quickly approached his son and wife. "Daddy!" Arion shouted, seeing his likeness.

"Oh my boy!" Austin exclaimed, lifting his son. He was overwhelmed with guilt, feeling he had failed as a father. "I'm sorry, boy."

"Forgive Daddy..." Austin sobbed, hugging his son tightly. Bella was surprised by her husband's reaction. She had never imagined Austin would be so emotional meeting their little boy. Seeing this brought tears to her eyes.

"Forgive Daddy... forgive Daddy... forgive Daddy..." Austin repeated over and over.
