Chapter 98. 'Most' and 'Mutual'

"Hmm...Thank you," Steve replied briefly.

"Why is Mr. Steve suddenly so distant like this...And...his eyes look swollen," thought Joy as she observed her CEO carefully.

Steve skimmed through the documents provided by Joy.

"Hmm, let's head straight to the meeting room," Steve exclaimed.

"Alright, Sir," replied Joy, then followed behind Steve.

Steve switched back into his focused work mode, completely forgetting about his issues with Bella.

The morning meeting went smoothly and successfully.

Before they knew it, the meeting was over exactly at noon, and Steve returned to his office.

Joy entered Steve's office as well.

"You seem very tired, would you like me to get lunch from the café downstairs for you, Sir?" Joy offered gently, daringly placing her hand on Steve's back.

"Oh...I'm not hungry yet, Joy," Steve replied, slightly surprised by Joy's bold touch.

"How about a cup of cappuccino...?" Joy persisted, not giving up
