Chapter 61. Sister
“Relax,” Gia said stepping out of the shadows. “It’s just us.”
One could hear Hazel release a sigh of relief as the other three came into sight.
As soon as her eyes landed on Ervin, her heart stopped for a second. She was stunned. It felt like it had been ages since she saw him meanwhile it had only just been a few days. A week to say the least.
Ervin stood staring at her, remorse written all over his face. He looked different. Dirty. His hair was ruffled with dirt all over him. Nevertheless, he still looked hotter than ever. She took a step to him, then another and another, and then she was running into his arms.
Ervin received her with open arms. He held onto her like she was his lifeline. She was his lifeline. He loved her that much and more.
“I’m sorry Hazel. I am. I’m sorry I lied to you. I’m sorry I-” Ervin began to ramble as he held onto her, but Hazel pulled away and shut him up with a kiss.
