The afternoon sun cast a warm glow as Avery approached the training clearing. Today was different, as Adrian was the only one waiting for her. She couldn’t help but feel excitement and nervousness at the prospect of spending one-on-one time with him.
As she approached, Adrian’s intense gaze met hers, a flicker of anticipation in his eyes. “Hey, Avery. It looks like it’s just you and me today,” he said, a faint smile playing at the corners of his lips.
Avery nodded, her heart fluttering within her chest. “Yeah, I guess everyone else is busy,” she replied, her voice betraying a hint of curiosity.
Adrian gestured toward the training area, a secluded spot bathed in dappled sunlight. “Let’s get started then. Today, we’ll focus on honing your agility and reflexes. A werewolf must be swift and agile.”
