Her grip on the humungous crescent-shaped sword tightened as her red scarf swayed from the frosty blow of the familiar northern breeze as if it were welcoming Soleyah.
‘Let me out, Soleyah,’ Aria—Soleyah’s blessed wolf—snarled a command at the back of Soleyah’s mind. Her wolf was pretty agitated from the thought of revenge. Finally, after years of injustice, her father’s murder would be avenged by her.
This was Soleyah’s number one goal when she came back to this wolven continent.
Soleyah sighed. ‘We cannot show them our furs, especially our moon crest, Aria. Please, understand. But not shifting will not hinder us, you know that. No need to make such a fuss. I will give you your turn… that I promise.’
