Chapter 29. The Mating (R18)

Everything was like a whirlwind of events for Diana Ritchell.

The last thing she remembered clearly, she was talking to Alpha Shinro, the former healer, while he visited the Blood Claws Pack right after the Welcoming Ceremony… then the next thing she realized, Beta Seymor Tesan called for her and then he was in front of her face yelling at her frantically how Alpha Dylan Cain lost control while venting his anger.

Apparently, her mate had once lost a loved one and he relieved the pain to the Crescent Pack as if Diana also died like his first mate. He acted as if he had lost her but it was all in his head. Alpha Dylan’s past and present merged and he could not identify the reality anymore – this was what she deduced after letting her ears suffer from Beta Seymor’s high-pitched voice.

Now, she was in front of his room.

The moment she held the doorknob, Diana had already made a choice.
