Chapter 65. Losing You Is Not a Choice

A pained gasp escaped from Diana’s parched and cracked lips.

Looking down, her shaky gaze met a pair of fierce ones, reminding her of the stormy seas. In a whisper, she called out a name.

“Dylan… You’re awake.”

Dylan sat up. His eyes gave a quick scan of his body before he looked around. Then, his gaze, which grew colder by the second, finally settled on the woman standing beyond the translucent barrier.

“Why are you here? I told you to stay there no matter what!”
