The moment Talia released a purple ball of light from her right palm it immediately shot in Dylan’s direction. At the same moment, Diana had already regained her footing as she waved her right hand. A blue light emitted from her hand, creating a transparent barrier between her and Talia.
Cold sweat trickled down Diana’s forehead. Her adrenaline was keeping her from staggering and stumbling over.
