Chapter 63. Drowned
There was a moment of silence as everyone listened to Red's confession. Yasmin turned only to Sethi, clucking as if she couldn't believe what she had heard. Meanwhile, Phi looked worriedly at Flame.
"There must be something we can do," Aamon said.
Yasmin gave him an annoyed look. "You want to lead the dragon from the dungeon to the river? Go ahead."
"It's attracted to fire," Red said.
"So?" Yasmin turns to Red this time. "You want to attract it with fire, and we're not allowed to burn the forest or pull up trees by their roots to make fire. Have you forgotten?"
"Gather things that can be used as a bonfire, or at least the dragon will notice that there is smoke. There must be things we can use in the palace." Red pointed to the doorway.
"But if the dragon comes... who will beat him into the water?" Flame asked. "Sethi? Can you do it?"
Sethi shrugged indifferently. "No."
Yasmin's complaint was heard. "And the plan came back prematurely.
